Merchant Capture

Check processing has never been easier. With Merchant Capture, you make deposits right from your office. Receive longer bank hours for end-of-day cutoff and avoid trips to the bank.

Simply scan your customer checks with a Merchant Capture scanner and transmit the images to the bank. The deposits are made as soon as we receive the images. Check images are stored digitally. Benefits include:

• Convenience: Make fewer trips to the bank.
• Longer bank hours: Submit transactions until 6 p.m. for end-of-day cutoff (unlike teller windows that close at 3 p.m.).
• Archiving: Store check images on a digital file.
• Deposit accuracy: Eliminate errors before the deposit is transmitted.
• Safety: Increase safety by eliminating driving time and night deposit drops.

Here’s how to get started with merchant capture:

• Assessment: We’ll review the volume of checks you process daily so we can provide you with the correct scanner.
• Equipment: You’ll need a personal computer, Internet connection, printer and check scanner (leased from us).
• System requirements: Your PC must have a minimum of 512 MB RAM, USB 2.0 (MVX), standard USB (UEC scanner), Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional (Windows Home Edition will not work).
• Bank account: You must have an active business checking account with Frandsen Bank & Trust.
• Setup: Our implementation team will set up your scanner and Merchant Capture software.
• Implementation: Your staff will be trained to use the equipment and software. We’ll guide you through your first transactions so your business makes a smooth transition.
