Down Payment Assistance Details

• First-time homebuyers earning up to 80 percent of the area median income for the location of the residence being purchased.
• Borrower must attend a home buyer education course.
• Qualify for mortgage financing with Frandsen Bank.
• Signed Purchase Agreement and Sale Agreement to enroll.
• Borrower must purchase the home as owner-occupied. The grant must be used for single-family homes, manufactured homes, condominiums, and other residences.
• Subject to a five-year deed restriction, the borrower must return a portion of the grant if the home is sold within the five-year timeframe. The amount owed will be prorated based on the length of time you own the home. *Funds will be taken from your sale proceeds.
