Consumer Electronic Statement Agreement
To sign up for electronic statements “eStatements” you must be an owner of the Frandsen Bank & Trust account(s) you have chosen for eStatement service. You must read and accept the Terms of Agreement “Agreement” below. Keep a copy of this Agreement for your records.
This Agreement applies to each account you select now or in the future "Accounts" for which eStatements are available. The words "we", "us", and "our" mean Frandsen Bank & Trust and the words "you" and "your" mean you the individual identified as the owner of the Account(s). As used in this Agreement, "Statement" means any periodic statement, notice, disclosure, billing statement, agreement, confirmation, or other information related to your Account(s), including but not limited to information that we are required by law to provide to you in writing.
When signing up for eStatements, if the Account has multiple owners, the assumption is made that all owners are requesting to have the Statement delivered electronically.
Terms of Agreement
Upon receipt of your consent, we will prepare an eStatement for your Account(s) and provide an email notification of its availability. You understand that by authorizing this eStatement service, you will no longer receive a paper statement in the mail.
To access your eStatement, you must be a registered user of our Online Banking service. To view, print, or save your eStatement, log into your Online Banking account and select the Documents tab.
You are required to keep a current email address on file with us. Updates to your email address can be made by accessing your Profile within your Online Banking session. You understand that if you do not receive an email notification, it does not release you from the responsibility to review your eStatement and notify us of any errors within 30 days of the statement date.
By authorizing this eStatement service, you consent to receiving other electronic communication from us including, but not limited to:
- All legal and regulatory disclosures and communications associated with your Account(s)
- Notices or disclosures about a change in the terms of your Account(s)
- Privacy policies and notices
- Notices about changes in fees or product pricing
We reserve the right to provide a paper copy of any communication you have authorized us to provide you electronically.
If you wish to discontinue this eStatement service and resume a paper statement, please contact us at least ten (10) days before the end of your normal statement cycle. You may also cancel your eStatement service in your Online Banking Profile. If you need a paper copy of a statement, disclosure, or communication, please contact us. A fee may apply.
All eStatements shall be in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This Agreement is a supplement to your Account Agreement and all applicable disclosures we have previously provided to you. You acknowledge that your consent to eStatements and electronic communication is being provided in connection with a transaction affecting interstate commerce that is subject to the Federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN).
We reserve the right to discontinue, terminate, or change the terms and conditions for which we provide eStatements. We will provide you with notice of any such change to our service as required by law.
Hardware & Software Requirements
A "Supported Version" is software that is currently supported by both the publisher and Frandsen Bank & Trust. Visit www.frandsenbank.com/faq.aspx to see a detailed list of "System Requirements" of computers, browsers, and Adobe. The following are our System Requirements:
- An Internet connection and a Supported Version of an Internet Browser
- A Supported Version of a program that can read and display .pdf files (we recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader)
- A Supported Version of a computer able to operate the items listed above. If you wish to save or print eStatements, you will need the appropriate peripheral device such as a printer or storage drive or device.
- We advise reviewing our System Requirements FAQ periodically for updates. We reserve the right to discontinue support of a previous Supported Version if, in our opinion, it poses a security or other risk for use with our Online Banking system.
Changes to hardware or software requirements
If our hardware or software requirements change, and that change would create a material risk that you would not be able to access or retain your eStatements, we will give you notice of the revised requirements. Continuing to use eStatements after receiving notice of the change is reaffirmation of your consent.
