FDIC-Insured - Backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government
Congratulations to Charlotte Kodada on receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award for 50 years of exceptional service to our community.

Charlotte Kodada was inducted into the Minnesota Bankers Association (MBA) Pioneer Banker Club during the 135th Annual Summit in Brainerd. The Pioneer Banker Club recognizes bankers, including Kodada, who have been industry leaders for 50 years or more. Kodada was one of seven inductees in 2025.
“Charlotte is an incredible resource for our team,” says Karen Brekke, Frandsen Bank executive vice president and chief administrative officer. “Her knowledge and leadership have been instrumental to the bank over the years. Charlotte shares her expertise generously and is respected across the organization.”
Kodada began her banking career in 1974 at the State Bank of Lonsdale as a proof operator and teller. In 1997, the bank was acquired by Dennis Frandsen and rebranded as Rural American Bank in 1999 and Frandsen Bank & Trust in 2004. Throughout her career at Frandsen Bank, Charlotte has earned many promotions and currently serves as senior vice president, deposit operations officer.
“I’m honored to have received this recognition from the MBA,” says Kodada. “From operating the bank’s first computer system back in the 1980s to participating in 16 mergers—and building lifelong friendships along the way—it’s been incredibly rewarding to be part of the Frandsen community.”
An involved corporate citizen, Kodada also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Lonsdale Area Chamber of Commerce in January for her contributions to the bank’s success and her positive impact within the Lonsdale and Montgomery communities. Through her leadership, generosity, and commitment to others, Charlotte exemplifies Frandsen Bank’s core values of service and community bank pride.
“Minnesota bankers provide an extraordinary level of commitment to the communities they serve,” said MBA President/Chief Executive Officer Jue Witt. “The MBA is pleased to recognize these seven bankers for their commitment to making a real difference in the banks and local communities.”
