Corey Berube Retires After 35 Years in Community Banking

After nearly two decades, Corey is retiring on Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Corey Berube moved his family of six to Pine City in 2007 specifically to join Frandsen as market president, and has become an integrated and essential member of the community. After nearly two decades, Corey is retiring on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.

“As market president for 18 years, Corey oversaw significant changes, challenges and accomplishments,” said Darrin Davis, Frandsen Bank regional president. “Thanks to Corey’s leadership, the bank is set up for success for years to come.”

Corey has been an essential member of the Frandsen Bank family. We encourage community members to visit the bank to thank him for his years of service to Pine City and to wish him well as he begins his next chapter.

“In my 35 years in finance, I’ve built great relationships with employees and my customers,” said Corey. “The most rewarding part of my job has been providing them with the necessary tools and advice to help them succeed. Whether it be employees advancing in their careers, or customers achieving their financial goals, that has always put a smile on my face.”

In retirement, Corey looks forward to spending more time with family and friends as well as traveling.

Earlier this year, Mark Iveland joined Frandsen Bank & Trust as Pine City market president in anticipation of Corey’s retirement.
