FB&T Selected to Participate in Elan's Charitable-Giving Program

Every Meal receives $12,500 donation through Frandsen Bank & Trust partner credit card partner Elan.

The Elan Charitable Giving program donated $375,000 across 30 communities, with each $12,500 donation going to a charity chosen by an Elan Credit Card partner. Frandsen Bank & Trust nominated Every Meal for the program.

Every Meal is a non-profit organization that aims to combat child hunger through community and school partnerships. The donation will fund the Weekend Meal Program, which is implemented in over 450 schools across Minnesota, which focuses on providing food to children who face food insecurity during weekends, extended breaks, and summers when they cannot access school meals.

More than 11,000 children have enrolled in the Weekend Meal Program this school year. At Every Meal, $368 will feed one child for one school year. Elan's donation will help feed almost 34 children enrolled in our Weekend Meal Program this school year. Every enrolled child will receive one bag weekly while school is in session.
