FDIC-Insured - Backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government
Frandsen Bank & Trust's Grand Forks and East Grand Forks locations have teamed up to support the Grand Forks Children's Museum's building capital campaign with a $25,000 donation.

Over the next five years, the children's museum will receive $5,000 annually from Frandsen Bank, bringing the total donation amount to $25,000.
"The children's museum represents an exciting investment in the future of our community," said Brandon Heider, Grand Forks regional president. "We're pleased to support a project that will expand access to educational experiences and create a destination for local families and visitors to the Red River Valley."
Located in Grand Forks, the children’s museum will provide a fun, innovative S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics)-focused space for hands-on learning for children and their families. The $35 million project broke ground in May 2026.
"Supporting community enrichment opportunities like this one reflects who we are as an organization," said John Votava, Grand Forks market president. "This donation aligns with our commitment to supporting projects that create lasting value and help our community thrive."
The Grand Forks Children’s Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to engaging minds through play. Currently in its initial fundraising phase, the 34,000 sq. ft. museum is planned for development at 1660 S. 42nd St. in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The organization aims to promote discovery, creativity, and equal access to educational opportunities through interactive exhibits and educational programs that highlight the industries and resources unique to the region.
