Mark Iveland Joins Pine City as Bank President

Iveland steps in for Corey Berube in advance of retirement this winter.

Frandsen Bank & Trust welcomes Mark Iveland as the new Pine City bank president, effective July 1, 2025. With 20 years of experience in community banking, Mark brings a strong leadership background spanning personal, agricultural, and commercial banking.

“We’re excited to welcome Mark to Pine City,” said Darrin Davis, Frandsen Bank regional president. “He’s a community-focused leader, and I’m confident he’ll be a valuable resource for our customers and team.”

Customers and community members are encouraged to stop by the bank to visit Pine City Senior Vice President Corey Berube and congratulate him on 18 years with Frandsen Bank. Berube’s formal retirement plans will be announced later this year.

After six years working in the golf industry, Mark began his banking career in Minnesota and spent several years as a commercial lender in Lincoln, Nebraska, before relocating back to his home state to join Frandsen Bank.

As bank president, Mark oversees day-to-day bank operations and continues building relationships with customers, business owners, and local partners. “Over the past 20 years, I’ve been fortunate to build a strong foundation across all areas of banking,” said Mark. “I look forward to putting that experience to work for our customers and team.”

Originally from Luverne, Minnesota, Mark is excited to be back and looks forward to embracing all that Pine City and living in a small town have to offer. Outside the office, he is an avid golfer and has served on the Luverne Country Club Board of Directors. He’s also volunteered with Meals on Wheels and as a local hockey coach.
