Frandsen Bank & Trust is MBA Community Champion for 8th Year

Frandsen Bank & Trust announces they have been honored by the MBA for its community commitment.

Frandsen Bank CEO Chuck Mausbach states, “We were one of 90 Community Champions who have volunteered and provided resources for hundreds of organizations in our communities this year. This recognition is a great reflection of all the hard work and dedication put in by each team member!”

In the wake of another challenging year for many, Minnesota bankers stepped up their efforts to give back to their communities and citizens. Just during the MBA Community Impact Month in September, these 90 banks and 411 branches devoted more than 3,600 volunteer hours, completed hundreds of community service projects, and donated tens of thousands of dollars to charitable organizations. In total, more than 279 distinct communities in Minnesota were impacted by their efforts.

MBA President/CEO Joe Witt congratulated the recipients. “Minnesota banks provide extraordinary commitment to the communities they serve,” said Witt. “In addition to providing the capital that helps families and local businesses thrive, the banking industry’s record of supporting charitable and community causes is second to none. The MBA is pleased to recognize these banks for their commitment to making a real difference in their local communities.”
