FDIC-Insured - Backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government
Melany Wynn, chief compliance & regulatory affairs officer, has been appointed to the American Bankers Association's (ABA) Government Relations Council (GRC) for the 2026-2027 association year, representing Frandsen Bank & Trust.

In this volunteer role, Melany is one of 13 new committee members who will serve on an ABA Committee throughout the next year.
"As a member of the ABA GRC committee, Melany will have a direct hand in helping shape policies, best practices, and initiatives that will impact banks across the country," said Chuck Mausbach, Frandsen Bank chief executive officer. "Melany’s involvement directly supports our core value of supporting our communities.”
The GRC recommends annual policy priorities to ABA’s Board of Directors and provides ongoing guidance to leadership as issues arise during the year. Its diverse membership is reflective of the industry at large, representing banks from across the country of varying asset size, charter type, and business structure, making it a critical committee in representing both the specific interests of the industry segments and the broader industry.
"I look forward to representing Frandsen Bank on the GRC and collaborating with banking leaders from across the country," said Melany Wynn. "This is a great opportunity to share the perspective of community banks like ours and help ensure the needs of the customers and communities we serve are represented."
