Mike Stamp Returns to Frandsen Bank & Trust as Hayward Bank President

Stamp steps in for Rick Risberg in advance of retirement this winter.

Frandsen Bank & Trust welcomes Mike Stamp as the Hayward bank president, effective Jan. 31, 2025. Mike is familiar with the community and Frandsen Bank. He served as bank president from 2018 to 2020.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Mike back to Frandsen Bank and look forward to the leadership and expertise he brings to our team,” said Rick Risberg, Hayward senior vice president. “His understanding of our local area and commitment to making decisions locally will be a great asset to our customers and community.”

Customers and community members are encouraged to stop by the bank to visit Rick and congratulate him on 46 years of community banking. Rick’s formal retirement plans will be announced later this year.

As bank president, Mike will focus on the continued growth and development of the Hayward team while strengthening Frandsen Bank’s presence in the local community. “I look forward to building on the great work of the Hayward team,” said Mike. “I enjoy building teams and helping my teammates grow as bankers and individuals.”

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Mike brings a strong background in community banking to Frandsen Bank. His career has included roles as a credit analyst, commercial lender, and community bank leadership positions. Mike also holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Graduate School of Banking.

Outside the office, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors in the Hayward area. He and his family fully embrace lake life, enjoy quality time with their dogs, and are avid college basketball fans.
