FB&T Employees Raise More Than $5,300 for Breast Cancer Research

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Frandsen Bank & Trust employees and customers donated more than $5,300 to the American Cancer Society. Frandsen Bank & Trust is matching the funds raised with an additional $1,575 contribution to cancer research.

The month-long fundraising initiative included a Pink Out for Cancer Day and a community ribbon wall fundraiser. Frandsen Bank & Trust offices in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin sold pink $2 donation ribbons to raise money for ongoing cancer research and support those impacted by breast cancer.

“Most of us have been impacted by breast cancer, or another type of cancer, whether through family, friends, teammates, or personally,” says Karen Brekke, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Frandsen Bank & Trust. “We’re proud to support donation efforts for ongoing cancer research as a way to show our solidarity in the fight against cancer.”

All proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society.
