Frandsen Bank & Trust Recognized for Fueling Small Business Success

The Minnesota SBA will recognize the top-performing lenders on September 22.

Frandsen Bank & Trust is one of ten lenders in Minnesota recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration's Minnesota District (SBA Minnesota)? for its commitment to small businesses.

"Our team is dedicated to supporting local business growth," said Dennis Welch, Frandsen Bank senior vice president, SBA division manager. "When entrepreneurs succeed, communities benefit, and that's why we're passionate about helping businesses access the resources they need."

For the fourth consecutive year, Frandsen Bank has been named SBA Minnesota's Top Lender of the Year in the large bank category (>$1B in assets). SBA Minnesota recognizes the lenders with the highest participation in SBA-backed loan programs.

"The Minnesota District Office is thrilled to celebrate our ten outstanding lender awardees for 2026. These lending partners are true champions for Minnesota's entrepreneurs, driving capital into communities from our biggest cities to our smallest towns and fueling the growth that keeps our state's economy strong," said SBA Minnesota District Director Tim Green.

As an SBA-preferred lender, Frandsen Bank helps small businesses access capital to start and grow their operations while offering flexible financing, lower down payments, and longer repayment terms through the U.S. SBA.
