Frandsen Bank & Trust is pleased to introduce Todd Fedora as the new Duluth/Hermantown bank president, effective Jan. 16, 2026. Todd has spent the last 38 years in community banking, serving residents, businesses, and non-profits in Duluth, northeastern Minnesota, and northwestern Wisconsin.
Todd oversees day-to-day branch operations and will work closely with Brian Shelton, the existing Duluth/Hermantown bank president, during the transition.
“I'm excited to have Todd on our team and look forward to the knowledge and leadership he brings to Frandsen,” said Mike Gay, Frandsen Bank chief operating officer. “His understanding of the region will help us continue supporting local businesses. I also want to thank Brian for his longtime service to our organization and wish him success in his next chapter.”
After more than 32 years of dedicated service helping customers and local businesses achieve their financial goals, Brian Shelton is retiring. He will continue supporting customers through February 28, 2026. We invite customers and community members to stop by the bank and thank Brian for his years of service and congratulate him on his well-deserved retirement.
In addition to providing local bank leadership, Todd specializes in commercial lending, owner-occupied and investor-owned commercial real estate, non-profit organizations, and fraud protection.
“I look forward to working alongside the well-tenured Frandsen team and supporting economic development in our region,” said Todd. “I believe in the value of local decision-making and take pride in finding solutions that help neighbors and local businesses achieve their financial goals.”
An active community member and lifelong volunteer, Todd is passionate about reinvesting in the communities he serves through volunteering and advocacy. Todd is a current member of the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce, Hermantown Area Chamber of Commerce, Essentia Health Duluth Community Foundation, and the Duluth Area Youth Lacrosse Association.
As Duluth/Hermantown's bank president, Todd’s approach reflects Frandsen’s commitment to local, relationship-focused banking and meaningful community involvement.
