Frequently Asked Questions


ACH Files created in ACH Manager are stored on FB&T's servers and protected by FB&T's firewalls, antivirus, and security protocols.

If you create an ACH file, such as a payroll file, using a third party system, your file will be stored locally on your PC or network.  We recommend that you store these files in a secure location to minimize the risk of tampering.  Files that have been uploaded to Frandsen Bank & Trust via ACH Manager are stored in our secure datacenter environment for processing and archive.
ACH Manager doesn't "originate" your file until after the cutoff time for a given day which means you can go in and make necessary changes so long as the file status says pending origination.  You can check your file status by signing into Business Online, opening ACH Manager, and clicking on Inquire or Change transaction.  You MUST send an updated transmittal register in order for your file to be processed. Your changed file will REPLACE your original file and please be aware that while you might be able to change your file after the 2:00PM cutoff, the replacement file will not post until the next day.  We cannot change or extend the cutoff time.
ACH Manager treats limits as hard-limits, meaning it prevents files above your set daily limit from being submitted.  This is for your protection and in the event that you need to send a file over the limit you will need to contact your local banker and discuss your options.  FB&T strives to set reasonable limits that reflect the type of and amount of transactions that your business requires while maintaining the highest level of protection for your financial asset.
Contact your local banker and they will arrange for a new token to be delivered to you.  Please be aware that there is a lost or damaged token replacement fee of $35.
Contact your local banker and start the request to add a new employee.  We can migrate their token over to the new employee during the process.
Contact your local banker and they will walk you through the process.  We are able to clear your old token unlock code (PIN) and you will be able to create a new one.  You will need your token in hand for this process.

Yes. The BIZ Mobile app adheres to the same secure technology that regular online banking at the full FB&T website requires, such as SSL, strong password authentication, and product certificates.  In addition, the app employs a complex device fingerprinting feature which helps to identify a user and their usual practices. Any use out of the ordinary will immediately invoke additional authentication, such as extra security challenges in order to get logged in. 
 
Yes, users can log into the app with a token, using their one-time password plus their PIN.
 
Yes, bill payments can be made in the app for clients set up with small business bill pay.  
 
Yes, any internal transfer templates can be turned on for use within BIZ mobile.
 
No.  ACH can’t be originated from the app, but approvals can be made
 
Prior transaction history goes back 30 days.
Yes, BIZ Mobile features a mobile deposit option for use with your business accounts.
 
Keep the paper check until you are sure the funds have been posted to your business account. 
 
Reasons for a rejected deposit range from a missing endorsement or signature to rejected non-negotiable items. Your local office can give more clarification if necessary.

No, personal accounts are not allowed due to the very different limits between personal ($2,500) and business ($10,000 or $25,000) mobile deposit.

BIZ Mobile works on Android 4.1 or higher and iPhone 7.0 or higher. It is not certified for Blackberry or Windows phones.

In November of 2013, Microsoft included Internet Explorer 11 as an automatic update in their Windows Updates system for Windows 7 and Windows 8.  Internet Explorer 11 has not yet been fully qualified for use with our system. If you are experiencing issues accessing your Personal Online Banking and/or Business Online Banking, please try the following suggestions.


Set Trusted Sites

 

  1. Click Tools (If you don't have a tools button, press the alt key to make it appear)
  2. Click Internet Options  
  3. Click the Security Tab
  4. Click on (highlight) Trusted Sites
  5. Click on the Sites button
  6. Under "Add this website to the zone:" Type in "https://secure.frandsentechnology.com" and click Add
  7. Make sure that "Enable Protected Mode" is Unchecked
  8. Click Apply, then click Close

Set Compatibility View
 
  1. Click Tools
  2. Click Compatibility View Settings
  3. Under "Add this website:" type in www.frandsenbank.com and click Add
  4. Under "Add this website:" type in secure.frandsentechnology.com and click Add
  5. Under "Add this website:" type in checkfreeweb.com and click Add
  6. Click Close

Sign out of your Internet Banking session if you have already signed in and close your browser.  Re-open your browser and try again.
If you're enrolled in Onling Banking you are eligible to use Frandsen's Mobiliti app.
You have a daily deposit limit of $2,500.

Go to "Online Log In" at the top of this page and click Personal Online Banking and then click on "Forgot password?''.  You will then provide your username, last 4 digits of your Social Security Number, and your e-mail address. A temporary password will be sent to your e-mail and you can use that to log into our full website at Frandsenbank.com.

You may get a deposit error message for a number of reasons. Below, are a few of the most common reasons.
      - Missing endorsement
      - Duplicate deposit (check has been previously deposited)
      - Dollar amounts do not match
      - Unclear check image
      - Missing legal written amount (e.g. money order, cashiers check and travelers checks)
      - Foreign check
