Mike Gay elected as the President and Chief Operating Officer of FB&T

We are pleased to announce that Mike Gay has been elected as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Frandsen Bank & Trust by the Board of Directors. Mike started his journey with FB&T on November 9, 2009, as the President of our Cloquet office, which had recently been acquired and required a strong leader. Mike quickly transformed the office into a high-performing one. On January 1, 2019, he was promoted to Executive Vice President and Regional Manager of Frandsen Financial Corporation, where he continued to showcase his leadership abilities by managing a group of banking offices and corporate departments.

Mike started his banking career at a young age, serving as a teller for his father's bank in Sturgeon Lake in 1979. After graduating from St. Cloud State in 1988, he started working in commercial banking at Norwest Bank, where he stayed until 2002. In April 2002, he was appointed SVP and Chief Credit Officer at Woodlands Bank, where he served until 2009.

Mike Gay stated, “I have had the privilege of working with an incredible team. It is a great honor for me to take on this new role and continue contributing to the success of the organization. I am deeply grateful to be a part of such a skilled and dedicated team.”
