FFC’s Rich Hoban Elected To MBA Board and Three FB&T Bankers to Attend MBA’s Leadership Development

On Tuesday June 29th, Frandsen Financial Corporation’s (“FFC”) vice president/director of corporate development, Rich Hoban, was elected vice chairman/treasurer of the Minnesota Bankers Association (“MBA”) Board of Directors. Hoban will serve in this role over the next year, and then become Chairman of the Board in June of 2022. Hoban represented District 1 on the MBA’s Board of Directors from 2016 to 2019.

In other news, three Frandsen Bank & Trust bankers have joined the MBA’s Leadership Development Academy’s Class of 2022; Brian Brakke (market president, Apple Valley), Kevin Kelly (EVP/chief credit officer, Vadnais Heights), and Mark Lanigan (market president, Cloquet). The Leadership Development Academy is a year-long program designed to challenge the next generation of highly motivated bankers to hone their leadership skills so that they can effectively guide their teams to great accomplishments.

Past Frandsen Leadership Development Academy graduates include, Brandon Heider (market president, East Grand Forks), Tyler Page (market president, Warren/Oslo), and Dana Scammahorn (corporate retail manager).

Since its inception in 1889, the MBA has been the champion for Minnesota Bankers, representing 95% of Minnesota’s chartered commercial banks.
